Frame Measurements

Finding a frame that fits is super important when buying glasses online. But did you
know it's also super simple? We created our Frame Measurement Guide to make
finding your fit even easier. Come discover what you needto know to measure your frames.

Lens Width:

This is the horizontal width (in millimeters) of each lens.

Bridge Width:

This is the distance (in millimeters) between your two lenses.

Temple Length:

This is the length (in millimeters) from each screw to its temple tip.

Frame Width

A frame that is too narrow will make your face look wider, while a frame that is too wide will make your face look narrower. Typically, this is the most important factor in finding a pair of glasses that fits well.

Temple Length

Temple length is the measurement in millimeters of the ‘arms' of the frame. This measurement does not vary as much as the others, with 135mm, 140mm, 145mm, and 150mm being the most common options.

Lens Height and Width

Lens height is the distance from the top of a lens to the bottom. Lens Width is the distance from the left side of a lens to the right side.

Bridge Width

The distance between two lenses equals a frame's bridge width. If you have close-set eyes or want a narrow bridge, this number should be lower. If you have wide-set eyes or want a wide bridge, this number should be higher.
